What GitHup is
GitHup is a free, open-source GitHub Action for uptime monitoring and status pages, published under the MIT License. This website describes it and hosts a live demo.
Using GitHup
You can use, copy, modify and distribute GitHup under the MIT License, for personal or commercial work. Your use of GitHub Actions, Issues and Pages is also governed by GitHub's Terms of Service, including its limits on scheduled workflows.
Ethical use
Only monitor services you own, operate or have permission to check. Please don't point GitHup at other people's systems to load-test, probe or harass them, and keep check intervals reasonable. Monitoring should help you run a service, not burden someone else's.
No warranty
GitHup and this website are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Scheduled GitHub workflows can run late or be skipped, so GitHup is no substitute for alerting you rely on for critical systems.
Changes
We may update these terms as GitHup evolves. The current version always lives on this page.
